Female passenger dies from fatal collision
Major Collison Investigation Unit detectives are investigating following a fatal two-car collision on the Princes Highway in Cann River yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, April 20)
It’s understood two cars, containing two occupants each, collided head-on between Box Ridge Track and Butter Track on the Princes Highway at approximately 2.45pm.
The two passengers, one male and one female, were airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The woman later passed away.
The two male drivers of the vehicles were conveyed to hospital by road, one in a serious but stable condition and the other with non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing.
