- the 4 reasons to leave home will be scrapped, along with the 5km travel limit.
- masks will still need to be worn inside public spaces, and outside when social distancing cannot take place. The Premier has asked for people to use their discretion here.

- 5 visitors will be allowed in the home. This is a reduction in the 15 that were allowed before the lockdown.

- 20 people at public gatherings

- schools, retail, hospitality to reopen tomorrow with the density limits that were previously in place

- weddings and funerals to go ahead, with numbers dictated by the space they are held

- sport to resume

- hospitals and care facilities limited to one household visit per day

When first announced, the lockdown was set for 5 days to act as a "circuit breaker", to effectively stop movement and potential spread of the virus - which began as a breach from a Melbourne quarantine hotel - in the community.

Gippsland experienced stage 4 restrictions for the first time.

There had been some trepidation in the community about whether the lockdown would end tonight as planned, but with no cases of the virus recorded in the state in the last 24 hours, and small numbers in previous days, the restriction lift was able to proceed.
