Scott Pendlebury breaks Magpies games record with number 314
Scott Pendlebury played his 314th game of AFL football last night, breaking a Collingwood club record set by Tony Shaw.
Pendlebury, a former Gippsland Power player, led the Magpies as captain for the 162nd time as they took on Port Adelaide.
The Sale boy is now 32 years old but it looks like he'll be around for awhile yet.
"My body has been really good," Pendlebury told 3AW.
"I've been really lucky with injuries.
"Every single pre-season the club's had, I've done. I haven't missed many sessions at all and if you can do that, I feel you have the base for a really good season.
"I've been lucky with injuries, they haven't been too serious.
"I've been able to get a lot of work into my body over a long period of time," Pendlebury said.
