No new Covid cases from more than 1,000 Traralgon tests
As at midday Tuesday:
More than a thousand Covid tests have been conducted at Traralgon's two pop-up sites since Sunday.
More than 600 of those happened yesterday and so far, all tests have returned a negative result.
INFORMATION FROM THE GIPPSLAND REGION PUBLIC HEALTH UNIT
Approximately 613 COVID-19 tests were conducted at pop up testing sites in Traralgon yesterday; 315 at the Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium and 298 at the Traralgon Recreation Reserve.
In total, more than 1000 tests have been conducted in Traralgon since Sunday.
These pop up testing sites will be operating again today and tomorrow 1 September:
* Traralgon Recreation Reserve – drive-through 9.30am – 5pm
To access this drive-through clinic, please follow traffic management signage and enter from Howitt Street (via Liddiard Road) turning left into the back entrance of the Recreation Reserve.
* Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium – drive-through 9.30am – 5pm
To access this drive-through clinic, please follow traffic management signage and enter from Kosciusko Street turning into Catterick Crescent following the crescent around to the carpark entrance.
Please refrain from blocking local residents’ driveways. Traffic Management will be in place to assist the flow of traffic to ensure residents in these areas are able to readily access entrance and egress from their properties. We ask that those attending these sites follow the directional traffic signage.
